In one of our most exciting projects to date, Somerset Timbers was given the opportunity through our long-time client Prinro Building Materials to be part of the team building the new Fynbos Cabins at the !Khwa ttu Heritage Centre in Yzerfontein on the West Coast.
Designed by award-winning KLG Architects and built by local contractor Bou-Hardi, these wood and stone cabins blend perfectly into the landscape. The glass walls allow unobstructed views of Cape floral fynbos and the private balcony with wood-fired hot tub at each cabin creates a sense of simple luxury.
It is always a privilege to see our timber products come to life and on this project, both the Riverbank T&G Cladding and Solid Pine Decking we supplied look incredible and importantly complement the quality of the build and the development as a whole.
